Necessary technologies keep the service secure and working. Optional analytics, personalisation and marketing remain under your control.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tags and software-development kits.

2. Necessary technologies

Necessary storage supports security, bearer-token authentication, guest carts and wishlists, checkout state, support access, currency choice and your privacy decision. These technologies cannot be disabled through our preference centre where the requested service would stop working.

3. Analytics

Optional analytics may help us understand navigation, errors, performance and feature usefulness. No optional analytics technology may initialize before the relevant choice is recorded.

4. Personalisation

Optional personalisation may remember interests and tailor course discovery. Disabling it does not remove purchases, enrollments or required learning progress.

5. Marketing

Marketing technologies may measure campaigns or relevant offers. No marketing provider is currently represented as active. If one is introduced, this inventory and preference centre must be updated before it loads.

6. Current first-party inventory

  • Bearer authentication storage — necessary — retained according to the selected sign-in duration.
  • Guest cart, wishlist and coupon storage — necessary — retained until cleared or the configured inactivity period.
  • Currency and interface preferences — necessary/functional — retained on this device.
  • Privacy-choice record — necessary — retained for approximately 365 days.
  • Order and support access tokens — necessary — retained on the device used to access the requested guest service.
  • Firebase registration state — used only after the learner explicitly enables push notifications.

7. Payment and external services

Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, social-login or externally hosted content may use provider-controlled technologies when you deliberately use those services. Their notices also apply.

8. Your choices

You can accept all, reject optional technologies or manage categories. Optional categories are off until you choose otherwise. Changing a choice stops future optional processing and attempts to disable or clear provider state where technically possible.

9. Browser controls

Browsers can also remove or block storage. Blocking everything may prevent sign-in, checkout, carts and learning continuity from operating correctly.

10. Changes and contact

We update this notice when technology or providers change. Questions can be sent to privacy@example.com.
