Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to create an account independently. A younger learner may use Ace Study Aid only through an account created and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, unless we introduce a separately approved child-account service.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not sell, transfer or share your account.

• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable security.
• We may temporarily restrict an account to investigate security, fraud or misuse.

3. The learning service

Ace Study Aid provides online courses, assessments, downloads, progress tracking, recommendations, support and certificates where applicable. Course descriptions and materials may change as content is corrected or improved.

• Courses do not guarantee examination results, employment or admission.
• Certificates confirm completion and are not professional licences unless expressly stated.
• Educational content does not replace regulated professional advice.

4. Course access and licences

A purchase grants a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the course for your own education. You do not acquire ownership of course intellectual property.

• Do not share purchased access or reproduce, record, resell or redistribute course content.
• Do not circumvent access controls, scrape content, manipulate progress or use course materials to train an AI model without written permission.
• Lifetime access means access while Ace Study Aid operates and retains the right and technical ability to provide the course.

5. Prices, currencies and payments

The price, currency, discounts, taxes and final amount payable are displayed before payment. Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe or another disclosed provider may process payment; Ace Study Aid does not store complete card details.

An order succeeds only after the provider reports payment, Ace Study Aid independently verifies it and the order is marked paid. A redirect, alert or screenshot alone is not proof of payment.

6. Coupons and promotions

Coupons apply only to eligible products or orders and remain subject to their currency, validity period, usage limits and combination rules. They have no cash value, cannot reduce an order below zero and may be withdrawn where obtained or used fraudulently.

7. Refunds

Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days through the Help Center, subject to the terms shown before purchase. Refund eligibility ends once you have watched more than 2 video lessons in the course; in practical terms, starting the third video means the course is no longer eligible for a discretionary change-of-mind refund. A refund may also be restricted where legally permitted after protected downloads, certificate issuance, fraud or repeated abuse.

This viewing threshold does not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded. It does not prevent an appropriate refund or other remedy where Ace Study Aid fails to provide the purchased course, the service is materially defective or misdescribed, or applicable consumer-protection law otherwise requires a remedy. Approved refunds normally return to the original payment method.

8. Learner conduct

• Do not harass, threaten or impersonate others.
• Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with the service.
• Do not misuse promotions, assessments, certificates or platform records.
• Do not infringe copyright, privacy or other legal rights.

9. User submissions

You retain ownership of lawful content you submit. You grant Ace Study Aid a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content as needed to operate and improve the platform.

10. Intellectual property

The platform, brand, software, designs and course materials belong to Ace Study Aid or its licensors. Copyright concerns may be sent to legal@example.com.

11. Communications

We may send essential verification, security, payment, support and course-access messages. Marketing is optional and can be disabled without losing essential service communications.

12. Third-party services

The platform may integrate with payment, authentication, hosting, video, messaging and analytics providers. Their terms may also apply. This does not remove responsibilities imposed on Ace Study Aid by law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service or request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access following material breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, payment reversal or legal requirement. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice.

14. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security events, network failures and third-party disruptions may affect availability.

15. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee a particular academic, employment or financial outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability relating to a paid course will normally not exceed the amount paid for that course. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or service reasons. Material changes will be communicated and express renewed acceptance will be requested where required.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Nigerian law. Contact legal@example.com before formal proceedings so we can try to resolve the dispute. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, unresolved disputes may be brought before a competent court in Lagos State, Nigeria.
